Folko

Folko is an oral storytelling platform which connects everyday storytellers with audiences from all walks of life.

The platform’s first of its kind “Shared Story” mode allows multiple storytellers to string their tales and experiences into single story “channels”, creating shared narratives on a myriad of different topics spanning (examples): “Good Old Days”; recalling what life was like in yesteryear, or “Day in the Life of”; the everyday experiences of people from all walks of life, professions and cultures.

Every story in Folko is bound to a 40-second time limit. This retains the immediacy and authenticity in every storyteller’s tale, almost as if he/she were sitting in front of a live audience.
